What is Bloggy Boot Camp (BBC)?
Bloggy Boot Camp is a one day blogging and social media conference for women hosted in major cities all around the U.S. In a time when blog conferences are growing more popular, Bloggy Boot Camp remains one of the most convenient, inexpensive and co-operative events around. Everyone, from brand new bloggers to experienced social media mavens, can benefit from this experience.
Who will be there?
In addition to you, all types of women attend, ranging from brand new bloggers to seasoned pros. We also have been fortunate to host PR representatives, brand managers, and some of the most influential leaders in social media today. Whatever the location, there is always something new to learn and someone fabulous to meet.
Do I have to be a member of The SITS Girls or a mommy blogger to attend?
No. There are really only three things that we require in order to attend our conference: 1) a willingness to learn, 2) a positive attitude, and 3) an interest in social media. That’s it!

When should I plan to arrive? What time does the conference end?
In order to get the most out of the day, registration for Bloggy Boot Camp begins at 8:45 am on Saturdays, and the conference starts promptly at 9:00 am. We usually wrap up our time together no later than about 5:00 pm.
What should I plan to wear?
Think cute, comfy, and casual. And don’t forget to come in layers. Hotels are notorious for varied temperatures.

What do I absolutely need to bring? Is my laptop essential?
Plan to pack light. We move around the conference room quite a bit during the day, so a heavy laptop can be overly cumbersome. We recommend that you bring business cards, something to take notes with (e.g, iPad, pen & paper, etc), as well as your phone so that you may jump on Twitter from time to time.

Will I know anyone there?
Maybe. Maybe not. But, because of the way Bloggy Boot Camp is organized, it doesn’t matter. Each conference is limited to about 150 attendees, making for an intimate and inclusive environment. Seating is also assigned during most of the day, which means that you will not have to worry about where to sit or feeling left out. We take care of everything. In fact, with our help, you are sure to meet everyone in the room before the end of the day!
How much does it cost to attend?
The registration price for Bloggy Boot Camp is only $99.00, making it one of the most cost effective conferences anywhere. For this price, you’ll be included in all of the core education, afternoon break-out sessions, and cocktail parties.
What is a typical day at Bloggy Boot Camp like?
While the schedule at each stop can vary, a typical conference day is broken down as follows:
- 9:00-12:00: Education
- 12:00-1:00: Lunch
- 1:00-3:00: Break Out Small Group Sessions
- 3:00-4:00: Coffee Break & Networking
- 4:00-5:00: Wrap Up Session
- 5:30-7:30: Cocktail Party

Absolutely! Our events can help business owners learn how to use social media to market their product or service, understand Facebook and Twitter, and connect with bloggers face to face.
